Everyone told her she’d never be a star, but then something funny happened - she became one of the most beloved performers in history.
Based on the real-life relationship between Ziegfeld Follies comedienne Fannie Brice and gambler Nicky Arnstein, the show traces the rise and fall of Fanny's career together with that of her and Arnstein's relationship, which ends up being more difficult than either would have bet on.
